What it can't do
- Spooly can't read a spool on Prusa. You assign it once by hand.
- Spooly shows no progress during a print.
- Without Prusa Connect, Spooly can't see the printer.
- A finished print is sometimes deducted up to 30 minutes later.
Filament tracker for Prusa
In short: Spooly fetches finished prints from Prusa Connect every 30 minutes and deducts the grams from the spool you assigned. You tell Spooly once which spool is loaded, and after that it books every print without asking. This also works with MMU3 and INDX.
I develop Spooly on my own in Vienna. Spooly is an independent product and not part of Prusa Research.
1
You sign in with your Prusa account right in Spooly, with a two-factor code if needed. Your printer has to be set up in Prusa Connect.
2
Without an MMU, Spooly suggests the spool from your recent prints. With MMU3 you have 5 slots, with INDX as many as the printer has heads.
3
The usage is deducted within 30 minutes of the print finishing. There is nothing to log afterwards.
Free up to 20 spools. You can try Pro for the first 14 days without a credit card.
